Terms of Service
Effective date: February 1, 2026
Welcome to Autocare Bookkeeping and Automation LLC. By engaging our bookkeeping services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please review them carefully.
1. Services Provided
Autocare Bookkeeping and Automation LLC provides professional bookkeeping services exclusively for the automotive restyling, detailing, and restoration industry. Our services may include, but are not limited to:
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable management
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Financial satement preparation (Profit & Loss statement, Balance Sheet)
- Sales tax tracking and reporting
- Technology services to automate and maintain financial operations
2. Client Responsibilities
To provide accurate financial records, you (the client) agree to:
- Provide all necessary financial documents (receipts, invoices, bank access) i a timely manner
- Ensure all information provided is truthful and complete
- Maintain final responsibility for the accuracy of your business’s tax returns and legal filings. As bookkeepers we do not represent you to the taxing authorities. A CPA, IRS Enrolled Agent or Tax Attorney is qualified to provide tax representation for you.
3. Fees and Payment
- Service Fees: Fees are billed on a monthly basis as outlined in our specific Service Agreement
- Payment Terms: Invoices are due upon receipt. Work may be suspended if an account is more than 30 days past due.
- Late Fees: We reserve the right to charge a late fee of $50 for overdue balances.
4. Confidentiality and Data Security
In respect to the sensitive nature of your financial data:
- We will not disclose your business information to any third party without your expressed consent, except as required by law
- We utilize industry-standard, secure cloud-based software (e.g. Quickbooks Online) to manage your records
5. Limitation of Liability
Autocare Bookkeeping and Automation, LLC will perform serviices in accordance with professional bookkeeping standards. However, we are not liable for:
- Financial losses resulting froom inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the Client
- Undetected fraud or errors existing in the Client’s records prior to our engagement
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
6. Term and Termination
Either party may terminate the professional relationship with 20 days written notice. Upon termination and payment of outstanding invoices, we will provide you with all final financial data in our possession.
7. Professional Services Disclaimer
- No CPA-Client Relationship. Autocare Bookkeeping and Automation LLC provides professional bookkeeping and data management services. We are not Certified Public Accountants (CPAs), Enrolled Agents, or Tax Attorneys. Use of our services, website, or communication with our staff does not constitute an accountant-client relationship or legal advice.
- Not an Audit or Attest Engagement. Our services are limited to the recording and reporting of financial transactions based on the information provided by you (the Client). We do not perform audits, reviews, or “attest” engagements as defined by professional accounting boards. We do not verify the underlying accuracy of your receipts or invoices for the purpose of uncovering fraud or theft.
- Tax and Legal Advice. While we assist in organizing your records for tax preparation, [Insert Company Name] does not provide official tax opinions or legal advice. We strongly recommend that you consult with a licensed CPA or Tax Professional regarding your specific tax liability, industry-specific deductions, and the filing of state and federal tax returns.
- Accuracy of Information. Our reports are only as accurate as the data provided. It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure that all business expenses, income, and automotive inventory records are reported to us accurately and in a timely manner.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.
